5x7 inch Mini Portrait - £95
Accurately described as a mini portrait, this is round the size of a large postcard. Great for little gifts if you have a tight budget, quick portraits if short on time, or if your photo isn't good enough for a larger portrait. Also suits small animals like gerbils perfectly.
8x10 inch Pet Portrait - £220
Great all-rounder. Perfect for single head and neck portraits of dogs, small horse portraits. Comes in a 10x12 inch mount, which is very easy to frame.
16x12 inch Pet Portrait - £395
Good for head and neck portraits of large breed dogs, small full-body portraits and multiple pets on one portrait. Are mounted to a total size of 16x20 inches.
Pet Portrait Prices - Other Sizes
These are my standard sizes, however, I can do any other size you would like, I just have a few standard options for ease of choice. The price scales with size and I try my best to ensure sizes end up being easy to frame.
I always advise on what is the best for the photos you have, so please enquire and I will help you in your decision-making process.
The largest size I have done by commission so far is 16x20 inches, and the largest I did of my dog Monty was 18x24 inches. The paper I use comes in sheets up to 50x70 cm, so currently, this is the largest that is possible.
Here shows a finished 8"x10" pastel pet portrait in its mount. All you need to do is find a 10"x12" frame to suit your taste and decor. As you can see the portrait fills a reasonable space within the mount.
Pet Portrait Prices- What Size Portrait Should I Commission?
There are a couple of factors that can affect what size portrait you should commission, not just the price.
5"x7"- Mini Portrait-Perfect for a small portrait of head and shoulders only. Not suitable for more than 1 subject.
8"x10"- Single head and shoulder, or smaller full-body portraits. Not suitable for more than 1 subject.
12"x16" - Extra large head and shoulder portraits, larger single full-body portraits, and more than 1 subject.
I also do square portraits, if your photo will look better as a square pet portrait I will let you know. These are my standard sizes, however, I can do any size on request if you would prefer an alternative.
If you have any questions, with no obligation to book, do not hesitate to contact me.
